The rooms at Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam-Sloterdijk Station are so cozy and comfortable. The box-spring beds feel like sleeping on a cloud, and the modern furnishings make it feel like a home away from home. The walk-in shower in the bathroom is a nice touch, and the LCD TV is perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing.

The lighting in the bathroom was a bit dim for my liking.

The only service that I missed for my work was the AC system, which didn't go below 23 degrees Celsius, making it a bit uncomfortable during the hot summer in Amsterdam.

Near the train station, the location was strategic and marvellous, directly next to the train station. Bar Helden Cafe Brasserie located 1.0 km away was a nice surprise.

The leafy Vondelpark was a hit with our children, offering free playgrounds for them to play and have fun. Additionally, the NEMO Science Center provided endless amusement with its interactive exhibits along the waterside, keeping the whole family entertained. Amsterdam truly proved to be a perfect mix of exploration and relaxation, making it a memorable family getaway.

My wife says that it would have been great to have more kid-friendly food options at breakfast to cater to our children's taste buds and ensure they have a hearty meal to start the day.
